K-ON! School festival 1/7 PVC figure Mio

This is a review about a PVC figure of the anime 'K-ON!' of the character Mio Akiyama. She shyly appears in a cute gothic lolita costume at the school festival ready to play on her bass guitar.

Her clothes are the ones she wears at the school festival in the anime. They are very well executed, the colors are alike as well as the details. Even her underwear is the same as in the anime which is shown when she falls over after the concert. Her bass guitar has so much detail and looks like a real guitar. It also has the right colors and is made out of some special material which gives it a nice shine. She has a shy facial expression what really suits her because she was shy to go on stage with the costume she was wearing. So the designers paid a lot attention at the anime in trying to make it as realistic as possible.

She costed a lot of money but that is clearly visible. Her skirt has some really realistic folds and seems to flow in the wind. Mio's bass guitar also is made very carefully and with a lot details. The guitar has every detail a real bass guitar has, even the snares, which make it look very beautiful. There are no real seems, not even in the hair which is very well sculpted. Also the cable coming out of the guitar looks really cool and make the figure look dynamic.

It wasn't hard to put the figure in the ground plate so that's good. But the cable is actually a piece of iron wire which you have to form yourself. But as you can see in the photo's this is really hard.. because you always have some weird edges while working with iron wire. It also doesn't stay very well at it's place and it's hard to make it curl around Mio properly. Also the figure is slightly bending backwards which makes it kinda heavy for the ground plate to hold it. So sometimes Mio's feet get a bit out off the ground plate. But it isn't that bad that the whole figure comes out off the ground plate entirely, you just have to put her feet back in the ground plate properly and then they stay that way for some time..

The figure were in one piece with only the ground plate and the guitar cable separately.
