Anime Merchandise Reviews: K-ON!! PM figure Yui Hirasawa windmill

This is a review about a PM figure of the anime 'K-ON!!' of the character 'Yui Hirasawa'. Yui is the main character of the series K-ON!. She is the air-headed lead guitarist and vocalist of the light music club. Yui takes good care of her electric guitar "Gitah"-- she sleeps with it, plays dress up with it, and even also has tea time with it. She can be clumsy and scatterbrained, but is optimistic and kind-hearted.

R E S E M B L A N C E

The figure shows Yui in an dynamic pose in which she's doing a “windmill” on her guitar. This figure reminds us of episode 20 of season 2 in which she is shown in her official HTT (Happy Tea Time) band t-shirt which she sported at the last performance on the school festival. The figure looks very much like Yui, her characteristic face, expression and hair is spot on! The cheerful and energetic expression and pose really suit Yui since she's a very dynamic person.

Q U A L I T Y

I always though SEGA made figures that were from less quality but I need to change that opinion. The figure is painted very detailed even though it's rather cheap! The sculpting is also done very well. The figure certainly has the same quality as if it were a very expensive one. I was very pleasantly surprised by this figure. Also the ground plate is made in some rainbow-ish shiny material which looks really great. The only downside is that in certain angles the figure looks a little weird. Also her awesome guitar doesn't have strings unlike the K-ON figures of Good smile company. Even so this is a really nice figure to add to your collection.
