The figure wears the same outfit like he does in the anime, also his charesteristic embleme is decorating the back of his outfit. He also has his six "dragon-claw" swords at his side like in the anime. The nendoroid comes with different hands to hold the weapons in various ways. He can hold none of the weapons, he can hold one sword, or he can wield his weapons on his famous "dragon-claw" way. Either way, they all lean very closely to how he would wield his weapons in the anime. The real eyecatcher is of course his helmet which is accuratly sculpted to look simular like the anime. Next the three facial expressions which come with the nendoroid really suit the character of Date. This due to the fact that the faces are really badass or serious, simular like Date's in the anime when being in a fight. Also the eyepatch on the faces is always very well sculpted and decorated like in the anime. Next I'm surprised to see that his hair, even without helmet, looks really decent. This because most figures always have weird hairstyles, not matching their hairstyles in the anime, but with this figure this was certainly not the case! So all by all a very good resembance to the anime!

The painting of all things is very accurately done and from very high quality. This is very good visible at all his facial expressions since they are all very well painted. Also the sculpting is very well done and all surfaces are very smooth! Also the accessories in ABS are very well painted and sculpted! Especially the helmet keeps surprising me with all the details. It is very clear that it's a high quality figure, and I think that the price is fair for the quality it brings you. Even the tiniest details are well executed and this deserves a big thumbs up!

Since it's a nendoroid it's made to be put in various positions but with this figure there were some problems. First of all the helmet is a quite heavy object and doesn't squeeze around the helmet but hangs losely on his head. This was not a good choice because when you put the nendoroid, without helmet, in his stand he keeps standing. But once you put the helmet on, the weight gets shifted to the back which let's him fall over. So you have to find some kind of in between position where he has his helmet on and is leaning backwards but isn't yet falling over. Which looks quite rediculous. (See the two photo's under this section)
Next are his crossing arms, which come with the figure. The figure wears them when you open the box. The bad thing is, they're almost impossible to come off the figure, the pins are really squeezed into is shoulders and are very hard to get out! I actually had to molest the whole shoulder with a knife to get one side of the arm out my figure! So not really good points for a quite expansive figure.
Ridiculous pose Normal pose (took me ages to make him stand like that)

The figure was in one piece but comes with two extra faces, crossed arms, two dragon claw hands, one hand with a sword and one hand without anything. Also the helmet comes serperatly together with the ground plate which you also have to built up yourself. With these accessories you can have your figure in various poses.
