Dragon Ball Kai PVC figure Vegeta SSJ DX - The legend of Saiyan, Serie III

This is a review about a PVC figure from the anime Dragon Ball Kai from the character Vegeta. Vegeta is the prince of the fallen Saiyan race and arch-rival to Goku. Aside from Goku, Gohan, and Piccolo, he is easily one of the most prominent characters in the series, receiving more character development after being introduced than a number of other characters. Here he's shown in his Super Saiyan transformation while crossing his arms and looking his enemy fiercely in his eyes.

R E S E M B L A N C E
Let's start with Vegeta's clothes, the figure wears the exact same clothes in the anime, also all the little details on his body armor and boots are there. Also his Super Saiyan hair is in the right colour and Vegeta's hair cut is also similar like in the anime. About his facial expression i'm not that pleased. It looks like the one he has in the anime with the chrasteristic eyes and nose. But nevertheless it still doesn't look quite like Vegeta's face. The death glare that he has on his face, on the other hand, IS in Vegeta's character.

Q U A L I T Y
The figure is well sculpted, especially his body and hair. When you look at his muscles you can really see the eye for detail that the creators had while sculpting it. Also the folds in his boots keep amazing me. Furthermore the painting also looks terrific! The figure has this nice glow on the blue parts of it's body which make it look beatiful. Also his hair has different shades of colour which makes it really realistic. Just the painting of his face is a bit messy, his eyes and mouth are weirdly painted. It's a shame because that makes the figure look a bit cheap. If they paid more attention to the face this figure should be supreme and could me sold for way much money. But even though it has it's flaws the cheap price makes up for it.

C O N S T R U C T I O N
It was very easy to fit the two pieces of the figure's body together. Also his feet fit nicely in the ground plate. Everything went great!
