Gurren Lagann R-Style Mini Trading Figure Yoko

This is a review about a trading figure of the anime character 'Yoko' from the anime 'Tengen toppa gurren laggan'. She's casually sitting in her outfit of the first part of the anime on the drill core.

R E S E M B L A N C E
Her clothes look like the one she wears in the anime. I especially like the big zipper on her boots. They also didn't forget her skull-pin and the two little sticks in her hair. Her face is nendoroid so it isn't really made to look like the anime but just to look cute, but even so i think her smile is too big. If they had made it smaller she would have looked more like Yoko. The Drill core looks rather wide in comparison with the anime. But when we keep in mind it has to be cute i think it looks ok.


Q U A L I T Y
For a cheap chibi figure she has quite some details. Though her smile keeps disappointing me. Also the drill core isn't quite as detailed as Yoko herself. But Yoko's clothes have really good details for being cheap and also her hair looks realistic.


C O N S T R U C T I O N
I had some trouble to fit Yoko onto the ground plate. The drill core itself fitted nicely in the plate and Yoko's butt also fitted easy on the drill core. But as you can see the foot is impossible to fit in the ground plate.

The figure was in one piece with only the ground plate and the drill core sepretaly. But since it was on an exhibition it's possible they build her up before displaying her.
