Shakugan no shana PVC Figure Shana

This is a review about a PVC figure of the character 'Shana' from the anime 'Shakugan no Shana.' Shana is the female lead of the Shakugan no Shana series. She is a Flame Haze, usually referred to as her title: "Flame-Haired Burning-Eyed Hunter" or also known as "Nietono no Shana" (the name of her sword) among the other Flame Haze. She has bound a contract with the Crimson GodAlastor, "Flame of Heaven". She's shown here wearing her normal outfit while looking us straight in the eyes preparing to attack.

Her clothes are simular to the ones she wears in the anime. Some minor point of critic is that her clothes in the anime appear more greener. Because the clothes the figure is wearing are rather brown then green. Next up is her expression and hair. I think that they are very well executed and really make her look like 'Shana'. I was quite surprised to get a figure, that really looks like it should, for so little money! She has Alastor hanging around her neck but unfortunately he doesn't look really exactly like in the anime. Over all, i'm really happy with this cheap figure!

For a rather cheap figure there's so much detail in it. Especially when you look at the hair that's flowing in the wind. The hair is made in one piece so that means no seams! Even though, because the hair is made in ABS it does look a bit cheap. Her katana also has a lot of details, just like the fire.. although the fire seems a bit weird. It's a seperate object and isn't attached to the sword and I think that's why it seems a bit odd. Her clothes are also very skillfully sculpted and painted! Congratulations to the designers, designing a cheap figure so well!

She doesn't have a ground plate so that was quite easy! More figures should do that. No more irritation caused by trying to fit not-fitting figures in a ground plate! And she's also very stable so she doesn't fall over at all! Unfortunately the lack of a ground plate does make the figure look a bit cheap.

The figure was in one piece with only the fire as a seperate object.
