Code Geass Ichiban Kuji PVC/ABS Figures

This is a review about a six PVC/ABS figures of the anime 'Code Geass'. Set in an alternate future, the series focuses on how the former prince Lelouch Lamperouge obtains a power known as Geass and decides to use it to obliterate the Holy Britannian Empire, an imperial monarchy and a superpower that has been conquering various countries. These figures were released for the second season of Code Geass. And so some of the figures wear outfits, only seen in season two.

R E S E M B L A N C E

I wanna start by saying that I'm very pleased with the looks of this figures. Even though they didn't cost much they're very accurate. So let's start with, who else, Zero. I really like his glossy helmet and his flapping cape. His outfit is executed very secure and all is very detailed. I think he's the most realistic out of all the figures. Next we have Lelouch. Lelouch's pose looks rather stiff in my opinion and there's something wrong with his expression. His face has all the features of Lelouch but even so they didn't quite get it right, I'm afraid. Now Rollo, I think that he looks very realistic too. I think that, with his sad expression and him holding the gun, it's a very powerful figure. And come on, you just got to love his barrette. CC on the other hand has a rather stiff pose. Also her face doesn't quite look like CC, this due to her weird smile. Anya's figure does look a lot like Anya and how she appears in the anime. Her numb expression really suits her very well. And, last but not least, Kallen. I think the designers did a great job on the hair here. The figure, as a whole, looks really funny and adorable. You can really recognize Kallen in this figure .

Q U A L I T Y
The quality of all the nendoroids are really high for such a low price! The details of their hair and clothes are very good. There arn't even visible seams! They even all have a different designed ground plate. Also their eyes are very well painted and make them look really cute.

C O N S T R U C T I O N
This is a different story... It was really hard to push the figures in the ground plate. Also the supporting beam is a pain to put inside the ground plate. And once you get the figures to fit they come out rather quickly. So once you finished building the figures you better keep your hands of them.

The figures existed out of different pieces which you had to built up.Building the figures themselves went smoothly. Just, pushing them in their ground plate and supporting beams, was hard.
