Fate/stay night PVC figure Rin

This is a review about a PVC figure of the character 'Rin' from the anime 'Fate/stay night'. Rin Tohsaka is one of the three main heroines of Fate/stay night who acts as the Master of Archer in the Fifth Holy Grail War. Though she widely admired at school as an honours student, it is a front she puts up in order to prevent others from prying into her life. In private, she is notably stingy and bossy, but usually means well for those she cares about.here she's shown standing in a dynamic pose while wearing her regular outfit.

R E S E M B L A N C E
Let's start with the figure's head. Overall I think they did a good job in her hair. About her expression however I'm not really sure. Her eyes fit very well, but together with her mouth it looks rather odd. Her clothes are an exact copy from the anime. But  then again I think her pose is rather weird. It would make more sense if she was throwing her crystals. But now it just looks like a randomly chosen pose.


Q U A L I T Y
Her clothing is okay, but could be better. The figure has some clear seams which is a bit of a shame. The overall sculpting and painting are decently done though. And when you look at her flowing hair, you will have to agree that there are worse figures for € 35. The plastic ground plate however make the figure look really cheap in my opinion. Not even the logo of 'Fate/stay night' is found on it.


C O N S T R U C T I O N
She was quite easy to get her fit in the ground plate and she doesn't fall over at all. So it's a really stable figure!
