Bleach Trading Figure Hitsugaya

This is a review about a trading figure of the anime character 'Hitsugaya' from the anime 'Bleach'. Tōshirō Hitsugaya is the Captain of the 10th Division in the Gotei 13. His lieutenant is Rangiku Matsumoto. Hitsugaya is generally mature and serious, in contrast to his free-spirited lieutenant. Here he's shown wearing his normal outfit and wielding his katana Hyōrinmaru.

R E S E M B L A N C E
To start with, the figure's outfit does look like the one Hitsugaya is wearing in the anime. His overall facial expression is done average. But his eyes really pop out when you watch the figure. They are probably the main thing on the figure that makes the figure's face really look like Hisugaya's. Now his hair is a whole other story. His hair isn't really as pointy as it should be. But especially the bang hanging before his eye looks really fake and bad. 


Q U A L I T Y
The overall details on this figure are done average. The details of the painting depends, on his cloak the details are really well painted but at the inside of the cloak the painting is rather messy. Also his katana looks pretty weird and is at some points unrealistically twisted to let it actually fit in his hand. The vows in his clothes look good and are decently sculpted. And again for a cheap and small figure i guess the details are good enough as I seen much worse figures who costed the same.


C O N S T R U C T I O N
As with most cheap figures I had to push quite a bit before i had him fit on the plate. But I actually had more problems fitting his katana in his hand and back. And when I eventually managed to make it work, it looked twisted and weird. So the sculptors better had moved those holes to better positions.
