Death note nendoroid PVC/ABS figure L

This is a review about a (bootleg) Nendoroid of the anime 'Death note' of the character 'L'.'L' is a world renowned detective that takes on the challenge of catching the serial killer known only as Kira. In his investigation, L becomes highly suspicous of Light Yagami, and makes it his goal to prove that Light is Kira. L leads the Japanese Task Force, a team of police officers dedicated to Kira's capture.

R E S E M B L A N C E
Before I start this review I must say that I suspect that this figure is a bootleg, the quality is rather poor to be a good smile company, and a lot of the figure is made in ABS. So this review probably talks about the bootleg figure not the real one. Now that that is sorted out, let's take a look at the figure. The figure has multiple faces which all suit the character of 'L' very well. Also the crouching pose comes straight out the anime, so is the arm where he holds his cellphone in an odd manner. His appearance is similar like 'L's in the anime, especially the hair is well done.

Q U A L I T Y
The figure is painted rather poorly. For example, the faces that come with the figure often contain some little painting errors. The sculpting of the figure is a big disaster, there are seams everywhere. The details aren’t nicely dealt with, it's about the same quality as a trading figure. Now we all suspect this is a bootleg so I guess that’s the quality you can expect. I must admit that even so it's low-quality i'm rather happy that I got this bootleg figure of 'L' since the real one is discontinued and hasn't been sold since 2008.

C O N S T R U C T I O N
I found some construction difficulties with this figure. The left arm of my figure is very hard to keep inside the figure. Also the supporting beam and plate don't fit the figure it's too small. But I guess these things can be explained by the fact that I think it's a bootleg.

The figure can be broken apart in multiple pieces to change certain items of it. But even so removing things is easy and attaching them goes pretty well (except for the left arm).
