Anime Merchandise Reviews: Code Geass 1/8 PVC figure Kouzuki Kallen

This is a review about a 1/8 PVC figure of the anime 'Code Geass' of the character 'Kallen'. In the anime Kallen attends the Ashford Academy, where she is a good student. Meanwhile she's also secretly a member of Zero's Black Knights. She is the group's most talented pilot and on par with the Knights of the Round.

R E S E M B L A N C E

The figure shows Kallen in an appealing pose with a beach outfit. This is quite a weird scene since we never see Kallen that way throughout the anime. If we put that aspect aside we can’t get around the fact that the figure looks a lot like Kallen. Again the anatomy of the body is a bit weird but it's normal for the characters of Code Geass who are known for being very long and skinny. Her face and expression also look decent, as is her outfit. So Banpresto did a good job making the figure.

Q U A L I T Y

The figure is painted very decently for a rather cheap figure, also the sculpting is done very well. The figure certainly has the same quality as if it were a very expensive one. The only downside I could discover is that her boobies and bra's are weirdly sculpted, as you can see in the photo at the top. If you look at her right boob you can see that the flesh, under the bikini top, continues a lot lower. But even so this doesn't really show when you look at the figure.

C O N S T R U C T I O N

The figure was in multiple pieces and you had to built it up, but that went very well. The figure also could be very easily placed on the ground plate.
