This is a review about an action figure
of the anime 'Fullmetal Alchemist' of the character 'Roy Mustang'. In
the series, Mustang is a State Alchemist of Amestris' State Military
as well as the superior of the series' protagonist, Edward Elric. Roy
holds the title of the "Flame Alchemist" for his ability to
create fire with alchemy, and he ambitiously strives to become the
next leader of Amestris.

As we look at Roy's uniform everything
is in order, he has his emblems on his uniform and they all have the
right colour and shape. But when we get to his head the trouble
starts. If we look at the head where he screams the expressions seems
right but the shape of his face at front isn't right. Also his hair is
sculpted very poorly. The other head is just an abomination in my
eyes, with the weird hair, expression and shape of the head. The hat
still puzzles me since I've NEVER seen Roy with a hat in the anime,
or am I wrong? To solve this head issue I always place the figure with
his head in profile, even so the manufacturer should have done a
better job. If it were a trading figure I wouldn’t mind too much
but.. it's a action figure. I expected something more decent of an
action figure.

This is a rather weird action figure,
all the clothes are made off ABS and the joints, head and feet are
made from PVC. Even so The ABS doesn't look to bad when you make Roy
do some poses. On the other hand the joints are quite visible if you
do (in my opinion). The joints also only have two stands I think and
they don't really bend really smoothly. So unfortunately it's not
that great of an action figure either.

The figure was in one piece but you can
replace it's hands and head. All these things didn't went very well
especially replacing the head has proven impossible, so I just had to
let the head balance on top of his neck. The figure did could be very
easily placed in the supporting beams.

The figure was in one piece. But it has
a lot of extras with it: four extra hands and one extra head together
with hat. So you can construct your figure as you wish.
