Fate/stay night PVC Figure Rider

This is a Review about a PVC figure of the anime character 'Rider' from the anime 'Fate/stay night'. Rider is the Servant of Shinji, first seen scouting around Homurabara Gakuen. Rider is silent, sultry, and vigilant, never hesitating to shield her Master from harm. Her weapon of choice is a pair of long iron nails fastened to opposite ends a single chain, which she effectively thrusts from distances. Here she's shown wearing her normal outfit while wielding her two weapons in an attack pose.

The figure's clothes and even her mask look the same as in the anime. Her face without the mask looks a bit odd though, which is a shame. Her weapons are made out of a metal-looking material what make them look realistic. Her pose is also very epic and charaseristic for 'Rider', as she always makes amazing moves throughout the anime. And last but certainly not least her hair. It really looks like it's flowing in the wind. It seems like she just popped out of the anime.

This figure was rather expansive so I expected that the details were going to be much better than with other cheaper figures. But there is a big letdown to this figure. Her impressive hair is made out of different bangs who all separately are placed upon the main-hair-part. And you can clearly see the seams where the bangs are put onto her head. To make it even worse the hair on top of her head is clearly darker than the colour of her bangs. Which, for such an expansive figure, is unacceptable! This downside however isn't visible through the box it was packed into, so this is a very misleading figure. Even so, the shape of her hair is rather impressive. And the painting and sculpting of the figure are done decently.

For an really expansive figure it was really hard to put the figure in the ground plate since the pin is really short and the hole in her foot was way too small. But after a while we managed to get it in, but it's really fragile and could fall out very easily. Her weapons on the other hand fitted really easily.

The figure was in one piece with only the ground plate, the weapons and her mask separately.
