This is a review about a
ABS/PVC figure of the anime character 'Ichigo' from the anime
'Bleach'. Ichigo receives Soul Reaper powers as a result of a run-in
with Rukia Kuchiki, the Soul Reaper assigned to patrol his city,
Karakura Town. These powers come at the cost of Rukia's own, and as a
result, Ichigo concedes to work as Rukia's stand-in, fighting to
protect people from evil spirits called hollows and sending good
spirits, wholes, to Soul Society. Here he's shown in his Final
Getsuga TenshÅ form.

cm (6.63 inch) in height.
When we take a look at this figure we immediately recognize Ichigo. His characteristic eyes are very well painted and his hair is sculpted very realistically. The color of the figure's hair goes from black to a more grey-ish tint. This isn't the case in the anime, but even so it does look great on the figure. I was very surprised about his face since it really looked like Ichigo. I also appreciate the designers their work on the black “glow”. I think it really adds up to the figure but I think that the “glow” in Ichigo's hand could have been a little bit more accurate. Ichigo's outfit is executed with an eye for detail and matches the image we got from the anime.

I think the sculptors did a great job
on this figure. All the black “glow” surrounding ichigo has so
much detail and all seem to have a gradient in them from black to
red. The sculpting of Ichigo's hair is outstanding and really tops it
off. The painting work isn't as detailed in my opinion. The painters
did their best but I think there are some sloppy parts. I don't find
that the painting is awful, but I've seen better. It's a shame
because if the painting were a bit better it would have tilted the
figure to an higher level. There are also some minor seams on the
figure which I regret.

The “glow” that you
have to place in Ichigo's left arm fitted very nicely. He also went
smoothly in his ground plate.

The figure was in one
piece and had the ground plate and the glow, from his left arm,
separate.
