Anime Merchandise Reviews: K-ON! deformation maniac PVC trading figure Ritsu

This is a review about a PVC trading figure from the anime 'K-ON!' from the character 'Ritsu'. Ritsu Tainaka is the self-proclaimed "president" of the light music club, and lead drummer. She is the one who formed the Light Music Club when it was on the verge of being disbanded, and since then, has become the natural leader of the band. She is standing in a dynamic pose while holding her drum sticks in the air ready to start playing enthusiastically on her drum.

R E S E M B L A N C E

Let's start with Ritsu's clothes, the figure wears the exact same clothes as Ritsu in the anime. They also paid a lot of attention to her characteristic hairstyle and succeeded in making the figure as dynamic as Ritsu in the anime. Also the exaggerated facial expression really suits Ritsu's personality and makes the figure so more fun to look at. The only think that looks odd about her is her expression. It looks like a strange mix of being mad and enthusiastic. Nevertheless whether it's meant to look enthusiastic or mad it still suits her.

Q U A L I T Y

The figure is well sculpted, especially her head and her hair. The painting unfortunately looks a bit messy when you look at her clothes. But on the other hand, when you look at her expression and her face, they're very detailed and well painted. It seems like the creators paid more attention at the details of the head than on the details of the clothes. Nevertheless, since it's a very small figure the less detailed painting doesn't draw much attention.

C O N S T R U C T I O N

The figure was very easy to fit between the pink support piece. And the pink support piece holds the figure very well at its place, the 2 beams squeeze the figure a bit to prevent it from falling over.
