Code Geass figure Z-01Z Lancelot Albion

This is a review about a ABS figure of the mecha 'Z-01Z Lancelot Albion' from the anime 'Code Geass'. The Lancelot is an experimental Knightmare Frame used as a weapon in 'Code Geass'. The Lancelot outperforms most other mecha's thanks to the heavy amount of Sakuradite scattered throughout its frame as well as the Core Luminous. Its pilot is Suzaku Kururugi.

R E S E M B L A N C E
This figure actually looks a lot like the mecha in the anime. Despite being a cheap figure they paid a lot of attention to all the details in the design. The only thing that misses that attention is the gun which the mecha holds. It almost seems like they sculpted it less detailed than the rest. Over all, I was pleasently surprised to get this figure for so little money. Also his battle pose looks very dynamic and realistic. So all I have to say they did a prettyy decent job.


Q U A L I T Y
Since the figure is made out of ABS it doesn't look as 'finished' as a real PVC would. The seams left on the figure are very visible, which is a shame. The painting on this figure is also done rather sloppy. The limbs of the figure are movable so you can change them. Although you have to pay attention because the limbs can fall of pretty easily. And the wobbly limbs make the figure quite unstable. So well, I guess this is what you can expect from a cheap figure. Even though, I've seen worse figures being sold for more money. So after all, I think it's a good figure despite having it's flaws.

The figure was already put together, so there was no construction needed.

The figure was in one piece (but includes several moving limbs). The joints are very smooth and easily lets you change the figure's position.
